A Worldly Wanderer
"To learn about fashion! To understand, how to move the world away from mindless consumetion. To find ways to nudge the business of fashion towards more sustainable practices." Is why I came to Parsons.
My background is in development economics and next to being mildly idealistic, stubborn, and blessed with the unforgiving attitude to be painfully honest
– I wear my heart on my sleeve.

Rika Paints Pottery
After a lot of flawful process, I added pottery painting to my repertoire of skills. It arose out of chance and I believe, that some of our stories, messages, and letters of love are so well written that they should last for longer than we do.
I will translate your love letters, wedding wishes, special accomplishments, goals, and personal success stories into unique visual compositions, that I paint on pottery for you to never forget.
Bio
Walking on an unpaved path is difficult, unless the paralysing fear of the unknown has been reframed as excitement. My non-linear career trajectory, with seemingly - non-logical choices, is geared towards building bridges between communities to overcome challenges through social, responsible and ethical entrepreneurship.
Creatively, my goal is to give incentives to critically assess and challenge all things 'normal'. My contribution is to discover new ways of doing things and I stubbornly avoid feeling awkward for doing things my way. I will continue to democratise supply chains and to stand up for the underdog.
